According to a court document, a woman told investigators that she was getting dressed after taking a shower, Thursday, May 28, 2009, when she noticed a camera in the closet. The woman says it was recording and she picked it up to look at the video. She says the video showed 33 year-old Silvio Frances Lucchesi, a man who lives in the house with the victim’s daughter, adjusting the camera in the closet. Joseph Peter Newman, 42, received a two-year suspended jail sentence for 135 charges of unlawfully using a surveillance device and two counts of stalking.
Police said they were disappointed the legislation for these kinds of offences did not reflect the seriousness of the actions.

WEST CORNWALL, UNITED KINGDOM – A voyeur who secretly filmed a naked woman in the shower and in her bedroom has escaped a prison sentence.
Paul Boase, 33, admitted hiding his mobile telephone to film the woman for his own sexual gratification.

SARNIA – A Sarnia voyeur with a fetish for women’s underwear was sentenced to more than four years in prison on Wednesday for offences that include the sexual assault of a child and making child pornography.

DETROIT, MICHIGAN – A local woman said someone took her picture while she was showering at her gym.
The woman, identified only as Tammy, said an employee at a Lifetime Fitness gym used his cell phone to spy on her in the family shower area.
