DC Station Airs Demo of Bare Breast Self-Exams

WASHINGTON, D.C.– The ABC affiliate here is airing a two-part series that takes a close — and unobscured — look at breast self-exams. The series is airing during the fall “sweeps” period critical for a TV station’s ad revenue, prompting concern by a parental watchdog group. But WJLA insists it’s not just a naked attempt to boost the ratings.

The two segments include clinical demonstrations of self-exams, and the breasts of the two volunteers are not blurred. They were to air during the 5 p.m. and 11 p.m. newscasts Thursday and Friday.

WJLA officials said the segments are providing an important service because many women don’t know how to properly check their breasts. Read the rest of this entry »

A SEXY contestant on a Germany reality TV show has sparked a frenzy in her homeland by starring in a sex tape.

Internet search engines crashed after news of the raunchy home video starring GINA LISA – a contestant on Germany’s Next Top Model – had been leaked online.

Top-selling German newspaper Bild has obtained footage of the tape and claims it contains scenes of “wild erotic games and unbridled sex”.

The newspaper is also reporting Gina gave the green light for the 23-minute tape to be released.

Transgendered Contestant to Appear on America’s Next Top Model

By now we’ve all seen the cutesy dyke takes on the fashion world that began with Kim Stolz in Cycle 5 of America’s Next Top Model. But that was five whole seasons ago and, believe me, lesbians are so out-of-season. So Tyra Banks has upped the ante in the upcoming Top Model cycle with an openly transgendered contestant, Isis.

The 22-year-old, a former non-profit worker from Maryland, identifies herself as “a woman born physically male.”

GLAAD has praised the move.

When asked if she was proud to be a role model, Isis replied, “I like to help people, but I’m here to follow my dreams.” Honorable and refreshing. I hope she does get to pursue them. So often pioneers are asked to subjugate their own goals and desires in order that they may represent their entire community in the public sphere.
