MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA – Cybersex is a growing concern in the Australian workplace with more people seeking treatment for the addiction than ever before, according to research from Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne.

Doctoral candidate Marcus Squirrell surveyed over 1,300 internet users who regularly frequented online sex, fetish and swinging sites to engage in online sexual activities, which included accessing erotic pictures, as well as interacting with others using chat rooms and webcams.

According to Squirrell, a “fairly large percentage” of respondents admitted to taking part in cybersex activities outside the comfort of their home. Read the rest of this entry »

Plans to turn a 170-year-old Grade II listed building into a members-only “sex club” have been rejected by Gloucester City Council.

GLOUCESTER CITY, UNITED KINGDOM – A scheme to convert the former New County Hotel in Southgate Street was rejected by a 6-5 vote.

Developers hoped to make it into a club for “people with alternative sexual lifestyles”.

IBIZA, SPAIN – The filming of Dizzee Rascal’s video for new single ‘Holiday’ took a surreal twist when a busload of scantily-clad German swingers turned up thinking he was shooting a porn movie.

The rapper had hired 20 bikini-clad girls to recreate scenes from ‘Boogie Nights’ for the video, which he was shooting in Ibiza. However, the villa used for the video is apparently notorious for holding wild sex parties, so when the Germans saw TV cameras and filming equipment, coupled with the video extras, they got the wrong end of the stick. “It was very weird,” a local taxi driver said of the incident. “The Germans must have seen all those girls arriving and thought their luck was in!”
