TOKYO, JAPAN – Considering that it’s now winter in Tokyo and so not exactly warm, one could be forgiven for thinking that nipple enhancers are be a bit unnecessary — if indeed they are warranted whatever the weather.

JAPAN – Yes, you read that right. Not a manga about hermaphrodites, but BY a hermaphrodite.
I was browsing through the comics section of my local bookshop and found this:
It was the catchline on the cover that caught my eye. “Japan’s first hermaphrodite manga artist (intersex)”. Underneath that: “Manga artist Arai Sho takes a scalpel to sex taboos. CONTROVERSIAL MANGA!”
Now, I’ve read a lot of manga, some of it pretty weird stuff. But I think this one takes the biscuit – particularly as its non-fiction.

TOKYO, JAPAN – A senior male officer in the Japanese air force has been suspended from his duties after being caught shopping for women’s underwear in the nude.
The major, reported to be returning home from a colleague’s farewell party, stripped off behind a convenience store before going in to buy knickers and tights.

This is actually an American soldier, presumably the Japanese Major's “weapon” was smaller.
The man, on his way home from a late-night farewell party for a colleague in early September, stripped off his clothes behind a convenience store before going in and buying panties and pantyhose.

JAPAN – A transsexual is complaining of a “phantom erectile penis” after having her genitals removed.
The 52-year-old – who is now a woman after gender reassignment surgery – believes she can feel her old manhood even after it was cut off, according to the report Phantom erectile penis after sex reassignment surgery, published by Okayama Univeristy Medical school in Japan.
Following sexual reassignment surgery, it’s reportedly common to suffer some phantom penis and erectile syndrome for the first few weeks, however in the case of this patient, she experienced the sensation of an erection for over six months and has undergone a second operation. TOKYO, JAPAN – A British tourist has been arrested after swimming naked in the moat of Japan’s Imperial Palace.
The man was said to have swum the moat before scaling the Tokyo palace’s 25ft wall.
Television footage showed him getting out of the water at one point and chasing police with a rock and a construction site pole.
