As if jet lag wasn't bad enough
Women travelling with the national carrier Air Niugini are fed up with one or many baggage handlers nicking their knickers.
Four women, who wish to remain nameless, told AAP how their best undergarments were stolen from luggage when travelling on domestic flights leaving the capital Port Moresby.
One tourist on a brief stay in PNG said her bag’s lock was broken and the only item missing were g-strings and lace hipster briefs.
“I could not believe it. I was shocked, it’s just too creepy,” she said.
“I have travelled all around the world and this is the first time something like this has happened,” she said.
Another woman visiting her mother in Lae, on PNG’s northwest coast, discovered her pink panties were gone. Read the rest of this entry »

CHESTERFIELD, UNITED KINGDOM – A MAN desperate for love was caught stealing ladies’ knickers off a washing line at Langwith Junction.
Chesterfield magistrates were told that Kevin Cope (34) had placed ads in the lonely hearts columns in the local press, but to no avail.

As if we didn't feel sorry enough for Philip
The 83-year-old monarch was due to visit the plant in Jamaica in 1994, but her advisers rethought the trip when they discovered what was manufactured there.
The story came to light after messages sent by US diplomats were made public under American freedom of information rules.
One note, called ‘No undies, we’re British’, read: “Evidently no one bothered to ask management at the chosen plant in Montego Bay’s free zone exactly what sort of garments they assembled.
