Man identified only as an American is pulled from water after leaping into Canadian side of Niagara Falls and plunging 180 feet over Horseshoe Falls - and somehow living.

A funeral Mass was being held inside St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church when police received 911 calls about a naked man Friday morning. Sgt. Gordon Cameron says the man told officers he was having problems with his parents and wanted to go to church.
Cameron tells The Bay City Times that the man cursed and verbally abused police before Officer Troy Sierras immobilized him with a Taser, an electronic device that fires barbs causing temporary paralysis.
The man was draped in a blanket and taken to Bay Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Cameron says the man, whose name was withheld, likely wouldn’t be charged with any crime.

TOKYO, JAPAN – A British tourist has been arrested after swimming naked in the moat of Japan’s Imperial Palace.
The man was said to have swum the moat before scaling the Tokyo palace’s 25ft wall.
Television footage showed him getting out of the water at one point and chasing police with a rock and a construction site pole.

Judge Robert Hulme sentenced 38-year-old Shannon Patrick Allen this week to varying terms of imprisonment over incidents that occurred about 4.15pm on September 25 in Market Street, Mudgee.
