BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS– So, who amongst the Boston Bruins [team stats] had the death wish to razz the ever-so-ripped Zdeno Chara about doing the Full Monty in the new issue of ESPN the Magazine?
“To be honest with you, I really can’t comment on that,” laughed team spokesguy Matt Chmura .
The Bruins’ 6-foot, 9-inch intimidator posed for pics – some with clothes, some without – in the past two weeks at the TD Garden for the mag’s Body Issue.
Z, one of 80 jocks photographed for the sports mag, appears in a spread with tennis titan Serena Williams, hoop heavy Dwight Howard and others called “The Bodies We Want.”
Sadly, the winner of last year’s coveted Norris Trophy was unavailable to comment.
