NEW YORK, NEW YORK – If biking or swimming in the nude is your thing, apparently you are not alone with Nude Recreation Week this month celebrating its 32nd year — but participants advise not to forget the sunscreen.

To celebrate Nude Recreation week, travel website TripAdvisor has come up with a list of the top five nude events enjoyed by naturists internationally. Reuters has not endorsed this lists:

1. World Naked Bike Ride, Worldwide – June and July

Each year since 2004, bike riders have joined to celebrate cycling and protest a culture where cars are king. This year, in 20 countries around the world, participants advocated freedom from oil and fabric. Nude cyclists bared their bodies with messages painted on their backs, fronts and rears. One TripAdvisor traveler advises: “Remember the sunscreen … and those saddles will be hot, hot, hot, so cover them up before alighting, people!” Read the rest of this entry »

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM – Alison Minards, 19, a civilian detention officer at Kennington police station, faces a grilling from senior officers over an alleged drunken orgy at south London pub the Pineapple.

An investigation is being held over claims that an unnamed WPc had sex with between one and five male Lambeth officers at a leaving party at the packed bar in Kennington, near Waterloo station.

The orgy allegedly began when a WPc, who is in her late twenties, performed a sex act on her boyfriend in the packed bar area.

ROME, ITALY – The Italian prime minister, Silvio Berlusconi, faced further – and even more excruciating – embarrassment today when the weekly news magazine L’Espresso posted a recording on its website apparently made soon after he had finished having sex with a prostitute.

Berlusconi has sought to make light of the release this week of a series of tapes, saying Italians knew he was “no saint”. But he did not deny their authenticity, although his lawyer had earlier claimed they were fake. Read the rest of this entry »

Police Seek Man with Exercise Ball Fetish

9239DULUTH, MINNESOTA – Police are looking for a man with a self-professed sexual fetish for slashing rubber balls. Police have been seeking the 31-year-old since surveillance tape allegedly showed him breaking into a fitness clinic in May and slashing exercise balls.

Authorities are familiar with the man. A criminal complaint released Thursday said he was convicted in 2005 of breaking into a sports facility at the University of Minnesota in Duluth and slashing about 70 balls. Each ball cost between $30 and $60. Read the rest of this entry »

LINCOLN, NEBRASKA – A man who was arrested for walking around a city park naked told police that he’d been robbed of all his clothes at gunpoint.

Police suggest that, just possibly, he might have made the robbery up.

FLAGSTAFF, ARIZONA – Police are searching for a man accused of jumping out of his car naked and trying to kidnap a woman.

According the Arizona Daily Sun, police say the victim was walking northbound on Patterson at Lockett around 2:30 Wednesday afternoon, when the suspect pulled his car beside her as asked her to get in.

The woman says the man was naked and masturbating.
