In an interview with Amanda Madison and Joshua Sizemore from their jail cells, they didn’t deny tossing the rocks, but said they never thought it would hurt anyone. (Video following article.)

“I didn’t think it could kill somebody,” Sizemore said. “I wasn’t aiming for death.”

Madison said the night began innocently enough.

“The main reason I wanted to go to the bridge was to have the adrenaline pumping through my body — like having (a very short distance) between a semi running underneath your feet,” she said.

Sizemore said after a while, Madison wanted to play a stripping game where if they saw a headlight out, they would say “Sex Me” and the other person had to remove an article of clothing.

He said the game continued for about 30 minutes, “until (Madison) started getting bored and went and grabbed some rocks. We continued our game and every once in a while, dropped a couple of rocks. I heard banging, said ‘(expletive) this,’ got up to go and ‘boof!’ there’s some cops.”

The pair were tracked down by troopers on the ground with assistance from a State Patrol airplane, which captured video of the couple throwing rocks.

“Duuuuuuuuude, hooters, heh heh...”

He added he didn’t think tossing rocks was so dangerous.

“I didn’t think it was deadly, I thought we were just hitting roofs and stuff,” he said.

Madison wanted to make it clear that it was all her idea, and that she was sorry for what she did.

“I didn’t expect just kicking it and having fun and sitting on a bridge watching cars go by, waving at them to turn into throwing rocks,” she said, tearfully. “I wanted to throw rocks so we went and got rocks. It was my idea and we picked up the rocks and started throwing them. I was aiming — I was throwing at cars left and right. I never meant to hurt anybody. None of the incident people should have gone through that.

“I never meant to hurt them, none of them, but I did. I just wish I could go back and change everything I’ve done and instead of throwing rocks and just feel the breeze. I don’t know why I decided to start throwing rocks. All I can blame is myself. Those people shouldn’t have been hit and I shouldn’t have been dumb enough to do it.”

Sizemore was similarly apologetic.

“I wish I could go back in time and change everything. I wish I could tell them I’m sorry and have them believe I only wished to have a little fun with Amanda and that was all, I didn’t mean for rocks to be involved.”

The two have pleaded not guilty to 14 counts of second-degree assault. If convicted, they could face a maximum penalty of 10 years in jail.

“It was just a dumb little prank I did,” Madison said. “It’s not funny at all. Fourteen people got injured because of me and it shouldn’t have been that way.”

Sizemore is being held on $40,000 bail, while Madison is being held on $50,000. But from her cell Wednesday, Madison said she doesn’t want to be bailed out.

“What I did was awful,” she said. “I actually deserve to be in here. All the innocent people I ended up hitting with rocks, if you do the crime you have to do the time – that’s the way I look at it.”

Sizemore said he too, wants to atone for his actions.

“I don’t want leniency, I just want people to understand I didn’t mean to hurt anybody,” he said.

Madison added she just turned 18 last month and had been living on her own since November, but now plans to return home when released.

In the complaint in Los Angeles Superior Court, Gameloft says the street performer, whose real name is Robert Burck, threatened to sue over its game character. Burck performs in Times Square wearing his “signature attire.”

In “New York Nights,” players simulate life in New York City, with tasks such moving into a Greenwich Village apartment, getting a job and navigating the city’s neighborhoods.

In one scene, the game portrays a street performer in Times Square, who wears a cowboy hat and plays an acoustic guitar. That minor character, named Nick, appears only for a few seconds, Gameloft says. He appears among hot dog vendors, street artist, homeless people and tourists that serve to “heighten the realism” of the game, according to the complaint.

The company says there is nothing in the game to make players think that Burck created or endorses the game.

In June 2008, a federal judge dismissed Burck’s trademark infringement suit against Mars candy. Burck claimed that the company’s Times Square billboard, which featured a blue M&M wearing a cowboy hat, cowboy boots, underwear and a guitar, was based on The Naked Cowboy. Judge Denny Chin found that New York law protects the name or picture of a “living person,” rather than a fictional character. But Chin let Burck proceed on his false endorsement claim.

Gameloft is represented in Federal Court by Aaron Moss with Greenberg Glusker.

In Newark, Burck sued Clear Channel and Corey Bonalewicz, who works for the radio chain’s station 93.3 FLZ-FM in Tampa. He claims Clear Channel has been profiting from the violations by linking the YouTube videos to its Web site and providing a toll-free phone number to book appearances by the imitation Naked Cowboy.

The Naked Cowboy is represented by Scott Rothman of Conshohocken, Pennsylvania.

Try to avoid the cafe con leche with honey.

A State Trooper was called to the shop after someone called in the complaint.

No one was charged, but Troopers say they’ve turned the matter over to the district attorney for review.

They say it’s unclear whether nudity outside the cafe is prohibited.

The town had considered banning nudity altogether after the shop opened in February, but officials now are proposing to specifically regulate where, when and how such businesses may operate.

The revised ordinance comes up for a vote June 8th.

The human pocket rocket, aged 33-year-old, identified as Alik D, had lived with Kira V. for about two years.

She wanted to marry. He was less keen. Inded, he said that rather than marry her he would rather return to his first wife with whom he had a son.

Kira took int well and suggested that they had a farewell dinner.

Alik is now desperately ill. And Kira is facing up to 12 years imprisonment.

In its official blog, the privacy office warns Canadians not to play the game in which users of the site post their porn name using a variation of first pet, first street or first teacher’s name.

“Each of those names is often used as a security question when accessing online e-mail services, using online banking sites, or even when speaking to your bank on the phone.”

Joseph Peter Newman, 42, received a two-year suspended jail sentence for 135 charges of unlawfully using a surveillance device and two counts of stalking.

Police said they were disappointed the legislation for these kinds of offences did not reflect the seriousness of the actions.

Despite facing 135 charges of unlawfully using an optical surveillance device, police said the maximum penalty Newman could have received in this case was one year’s imprisonment.

Under the legislation, police claim they could not charge Newman with indecent filming because there was no such offence for adults.

Police became aware of Newman’s activities after an Ellenbrook woman spotted him filming her through her bedroom window on October 5 last year.

Not really, but the street would be considerably more fun if it did look like this.

Groups of youths used to visit the street and bare their backsides for photographs while many delivery firms simply refused to believe it existed.

And coachloads of amused American tourists frequently turned up to view the sign after it appeared in a US book.

And so despairing households in the suburban street in Conisbrough, South Yorkshire, decided that the road’s name simply had to change.

They spent £300 to change their address to the rather more palatable Archers Way.

Resident Peter Sutton said he originally thought the street’s name would be fun – but admits he soon got tired of the jokes.

Mr Sutton moved into the house vacated in 2003 by Paul and Lisa Allott, who were forced to move after becoming fed up with their street’s name.

Mr Allott said: ‘We’d heard every single gag there is and we’d had enough.

The real assholes.

‘All the other street names around here are quite sensible.

‘I just can’t see why they didn’t call it Butt Hall Road, or something like that. I’ve no idea why it was named like this.’

Elizabeth Brennan, 77, who uses the street for access to her home, said: ‘It was a bit tedious having the street laughed at all the time. The new name is much nicer.’

But an internet petition has already been started to change the road’s name back again.

Butt Hole Road is believed to have been named after a communal water butt that was originally in the area.

The road has been renamed Archers Way to refer to a medieval castle that is just half a mile away.
