Catherine Hood, The Mirror’s Sex Doctor, Answers the burning question…

Dear Dr Cath,
About a month ago I suddenly got lots of lumps on my penis.
My GP thought they could be warts but a clinic said they were caused by a virus. I’m confused.
Dear reader,
If these lumps are smooth with a slightly pearly appearance they could be molluscum contagiosum, caused by a virus.
Your clinic will probably freeze the lumps to kill the virus.
Until they have gone, you should use condoms when you have sex.
