KNOXVILLE, TENNESSEE – Word came across the police scanners on Tuesday morning that the previous day’s snow fall had brought with it the erection of a seemingly inappropriate “snow man.”
A concerned neighbor apparently called the authorities after spotting the icy appendage-like creation on someone’s North Knoxville lawn.
Reports from the scene indicate a local fire crew was to be dispatched to the McCamey Road address to calm down the situation with a cold shower from fire hoses. It could still be seen standing firm behind a chain link fence late Tuesday morning.
It appeared to sport no alterations outside of the traditional hardened crust of snow. Additionally there was no sign of a corncob pipe, button nose or eyes made out of coal.
A final and luckily notable omission was the lack of a hat atop its head.
