Ex-Miss USA, Soap Star Turns to Porn

HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA – Maybe she’s grown tired of the grinding workload that comes with being a soap opera star, but ‘Passions’ alum and ex-Miss USA Kelli McCarty has now turned her attention to jobs where words take a back seat to other, um, things. You guessed it, McCarty is now charging full thrust into a porno career.

McCarty, 39, has finished wrapping her debut XXX film, ‘Faithless’ for Vivid Entertainment, and the actress told TMZ that it’s a perfect career move.

“I enjoy acting, and I really like sex … so this was the perfect opportunity to combine two of my passions,” she said.

She was crowned Miss USA in 1991 and eight years later scored the role of Beth in the soap opera. Her character was killed off (train explosion!) in 2006.
