KILWORTH, CANADA– Vandals painted graphic sex images on garage doors, spray painted cars and a road in Kilworth just west of London early today, causing thousands of dollars damage.
Middlesex OPP are asking the public for help in tracking down suspects responsible for a rampage during which vandals used black spray paint sometime between 11:20 p.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. today.
The damage included:
* On Kilworth Park Drive, the side of a home was painted with a penis and derogatory language.
* On Westbrook Drive, two houses were spray painted, including a graphic sex scene on the garage doors of one home.
* The licence plates of two vehicles were obscured by paint while, nearby, a white Ford SUV was covered in black paint and the front of the truck was damaged when the vandal climbed on the front to spray paint the hood.
* A large penis was painted on the road at the intersection of Westbrook Drive and Jefferies Road.
* Two stop signs were covered with paint.
“Local parents are asked check into the whereabouts of their teens last night,” said Const. Doug Graham.
“The persons responsible likely have traces of black paint on their hands and clothing.”
“”This is a completely senseless act by people who have no respect for other people’s property or safety,” said Const. Chris Hunter.
“It’s disturbing. And it could have led to serious injuries if someone drove through those stop signs because they couldn’t see them. It could have been much worse.”
