John Marsh, owner of the web site Fratmentv.com, says the University of Nebraska athletic department has contacted him in an investigation into photographs that allegedly show the two wrestlers naked or partially clothed.
The pictures appear to show, separately, Paul Donahoe and Kenny Jordan, but Marsh wouldn’t confirm their identity, citing his policy to protect models.
He says he’s working with the school to maintain the athletes’ eligibility. NCAA athletes aren’t allowed to use pictures of themselves for commercial purposes.
Update: Nebraska wrestling coach Mark Manning says Paul Donahoe and Kenny Jordan have been dismissed permanently from the team. Manning says their behavior doesn’t reflect the team’s standard of excellence.
Manning apologized in a statement for any embarrassment caused for the athletic department, the university and fans.
