Carmen Desiree Rivera, 29, 1803 E. Hines St., was charged Wednesday with battery resulting in bodily injury, a Class A misdemeanor carrying a maximum one-year jail term. Her trial is set for Oct. 31 in Anderson City Court.
According to a probable cause affidavit, Anderson police were called to the VIP Show Club, 2628 Martin Luther King Blvd., about 1 a.m. Wednesday after dancer Tina “Venus” Chrich reported she had been attacked by Rivera.
Chrich, 30, told authorities Rivera had confronted her, accusing her of stealing tip money, before “Carmen took one of her stiletto heels and swung it, hitting Tina,” the court document said.
Officer Brett Webb reported the alleged victim had “a small laceration on the left side of her chest.”
Chrich also said Rivera had punched her in the right eye.
Rivera was being held without bond in the Madison County jail on Thursday because of a warrant issued by a Delaware County court.
