Police said they were contacted by a “concerned citizen” about the online posting at Craigslist, which serves as a free classified site.
Port Huron detectives investigated the complaint, saying in a release that “the female responded and met the Detective at a local motel.”
The woman has been released by the police and the complaint will be presented to the St. Clair County Prosecutors Office, the release says.
