TWINSBURG, OHIO – A naked and disoriented man made threats about a bomb in his car Thursday afternoon, which brought out the Twinsburg bomb squad.
Police were called to a gas station on Ohio 82 at Interstate 480 about 1:30 p.m. when employees said a man was acting erratically.
The man picked up some items from the gas station store then went into the bathroom and came out naked and mumbling.
Police tried to question the man and a scuffle followed. Officers subdued him with a Taser.
The man then told police he had bombs in his car.
The bomb squad removed two suspicious packages in backpacks but no explosives were found.
The man was taken to Bedford Medical Center for a mental evaluation. Charges are pending.
