A man wearing no clothing broke into a house in Hampshire before being confronted by the owner, police said.

CLANFIELD, UNITED KINGDOM–The naked burglar is believed to have entered the house in Meon Close, Clanfield, through a downstairs lounge window and started searching the room.

But when he was disturbed he fled through the front door taking a photo frame with him early on Saturday.

A 20-year-old man and a 14-year-old boy, both from Waterlooville, have been arrested over the incident.

The man was released on bail and the teenager is still in custody.

Det Con Mark McGreevy, of Hampshire Police, said: “This is obviously a very unusual case, where the suspect has entered the property naked and has fled from the scene.

“Despite the early hour, there is a good chance anyone in the area would have noticed a naked man in the streets.”
