“You can’t touch these breasts if you put your lips to those!” Actually, we have no idea what being topless had to do with it… KFC girls: Ashley Fruno and Fawn Porter. Photo: Adam HollingworthSYDNEY, AUSTRALIA – The good folk at People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals could not wait for today’s Federal Court decision on the constitutionality of World Youth Day regulations preventing pilgrims from being annoyed.
Taping their nipples for decorum, three women from PETA stripped down to their knickers and climbed inside a cage to annoy passers-by by protesting outside the KFC in George Street.
The trio bravely hoisted an annoying banner reading “Chicks agree, boycott KFC” before they were duly collared by police and put into a paddy wagon.
Scores of interested male passers-by took the opportunity to record the historic moment with mobile phone cameras.
What could the PETA women have been thinking by playing to such base instincts?
Even the usually undressed Pamela Anderson managed to keep her clothes on when she stormed a KFC on the Gold Coast last week in a similar protest.
The PETA women claimed that they had been arrested under the World Youth Day regulations.
Rot, said the police. They had been naked and that is frowned upon in George Street most days, whether or not the Pope is in town.
